1. Made-To-Order Products
All beds sold by Don’t Sleep On It are manufactured to order based on the size, fabric, and colour selected at checkout.
Under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
As our beds are produced specifically to your chosen configuration, we do not accept returns for:

Change of mind
-
Incorrect size selected
-
Fabric or colour preference
-
Room suitability
-
Personal taste
-
Measurement errors
Customers are responsible for ensuring all selections and measurements are correct before placing an order.
2. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You are entitled to a remedy if goods:

Are not as described
-
Are not fit for purpose
-
Are of unsatisfactory quality
These rights apply regardless of our internal policy.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives:

Structurally damaged
-
Broken
-
Unusable
-
Incorrect to what was ordered
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence.
Failure to report visible damage within this timeframe may affect your claim.
Where a genuine fault is confirmed, we reserve the right to:

Repair the item
-
Replace the item
-
Replace the affected component
A refund will only be issued where repair or replacement is not possible or would be disproportionate.
Refunds are not automatically granted where a suitable replacement resolves the issue.
4. Short-Term Right to Reject
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers have 30 days to reject goods that are faulty.
If a fault is confirmed within 30 days and repair or replacement is not suitable, you may be entitled to a refund.
We may require inspection before confirming a refund.
5. Minor Variations
The following are not considered faults:

Slight colour variations due to lighting or screen display

Fabric texture differences

Natural material variations
-
Minor compression marks from packaging

Minor cosmetic marks not affecting structural integrity
6. Mattress & Hygiene Policy
For hygiene and health reasons, mattresses cannot be returned once unwrapped unless proven faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Inspection & Acceptance
Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.
By accepting delivery, you confirm the goods appear in satisfactory condition unless reported within 48 hours.
8. Access & Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring:

Adequate access

Correct measurements
-
Suitable stairways and door clearance
Failed deliveries due to access issues may incur redelivery charges.
9. Order Amendments & Cancellations
Orders may only be amended or cancelled within 24 hours of purchase.
After this time, production may have commenced and cancellation may not be possible.
10. Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating any payment dispute.
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in the matter being formally disputed with supporting evidence including delivery confirmation and communications.
